Founded in 1903 by Oskar von Miller, the Deutsches Museum is the largest museum of technology and science in the world. Since its first opening in 1925, and also known as the German Museum of Masterpieces, it is visited by approximately 1.5 million visitors per year, hosting about 28,000 exhibited objects and being one of Munich’s top attractions.
